This is my first year coming to the show. Is there any pre-registration for the car show or do you register the morning of the car show? Is there any cost for the car show or registering for the events of the whole week?

Welcome to the site and you can pre-register. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND that anyone who is wanting to participate in the car show pre-register ASAP! The car show fills up very fast. Keep an eye on on here for the pre-registration. The info should be up very soon.

yes but you have to work that through the registration system. contact me at bill@mustangweek.com before July 14. We won't have time to be making switches during the heavy activity of show day.

I registered, however, for Model 2006 V-6 wasn't an option. I chose SVO for model as it wouldn't allow me to not select a Model.

The guide lines for showing are a lot like most any car show. We need hoods up, doors unlocked so the judges can look inside the car. Glass in raised position. Convertible top up or down is optional. Don't have to have trunk open as we don't judge there. Somewhat like modified MCA judging. Don't judge the undercarriage but wheels and tires are judged. The main focus is on cleanliness. Don't forget door jams, hood hinges and anywhere under the hood.
If you're a MCA member, read their guidelines and you'll be prepared. This is not an MCA show but their advice on showing is very well documented.

I know from past experience there will be a lot of stiff competiotion and some extremely clean cars there. I just wish mine was as clean as half of them there!LOL

A reminder to everyone registering for the show (show spots are preregistration only) or chosing to preregister to display at the car show on Friday, We do NOT confirm registration until payment is received.
Just submitting the registation form does NOT guarantee you a place in the show. If you have submitted the registration and have not sent in your payment, do so ASAP. The show spots are filling up fast.
First with payment gets confirmed first. Regardless of when registration was posted.

The 101 meant that is the 101 st registration attempt on the site but what counts is when payments are received so get them in as soon as you can after registering!
That number counts for display registrations as well as show registrations.
Thanks!
Signed up and payment sent!

I'm not on the Staff but the answer is no. Just show up and participate, have fun!!

Since it is full do we need to preregister for display to make sure we have a spot or just wait till the day of the show?

Its probably better to re regiter, but there will probably be some display spots available at the beach. Of course now that I say that watch it be full.....
I would say better safe and pre register

Hey, why not have a V8 category? You have 4 cyl and V6. My '65 fits none of your "model" designations. It's a V8, but not a GT or any of the others you list. (And there are a lot more out here like that.)

We always think it's a V-8 ,unless you list it as another motor . I guess we assume it. LOL Thanks and we make a note to next years list . We are already 2/3 full for the show this year ,it will be full SOON !
