Clean, Clean, Clean.......and try to find time to do it in between both of my jobs and 78-80 hrs a week. I don't know what to do or how I'm going to pull it off.

Detail the truck since i parked it under the oak tree in the yard, and it now has little brown dots EVERYWHERE. Detail the stang, it wont be nothing to spectacular since the hood blow up accident. And clean up the engine bay from the carb swap. Theres alot of little odds and ends brackets from the EFI that need taken out and wiped down. But I've only got 4 more days of work then 2 weeks of vacation!

Get the electric brake equipment put on my wife's '07 Sequoia....I got a feeling thats going to be a complete waste of time.

What do ya'll think?? A Toyota 4.7 hauling a 20' enclosed trailer w/Mustang, family of 4 & stuff for a week.

I may just stick w/my pick-up truck...

That is what I would do and probally a little safer as well.

Disregard original post i was thinking Sienna not Sequoia...At First i was like you've got to be frickin CRAZY! Then realized I was thinking about the WRONG car :-)...Shouldnt be to bad either way. According to the Toyota Website, the 08 Sequoia with the towing package as a Towing Capacity of 7500lbs 4.7 4WD.

Not to Shabby at all. Plus the Sequoia is a little more roomy for the Fam.

Started wrenching on the Stang yesterday, Changed the Oil and Tranny Fluid. Then the driveline has started to get a pretty bad 'thunk' in it after getting outta the gas then back in it. Figured it was something simple as u-joints. Well not so much, Ujoints were fine but replaced them anyways, Seems the rearend has lot of play in it. With the driveshaft off you grab the yoke and you can get a good wrist turn on it. Hopefully it will last me through Mustang week.

It sounds like you have ripped a torque box loose or possibly both of them. I would check them for rips around where they meet the body. This has happend to mine but I re welded them and reinforced them with Wild Rides upper and lower Torque Box reinforcements and that fixed the problem.

Finally finished restriping the car today. Still have to put the electric brake in the truck for the trailer. Put all the other stuff on the car. Detail the stang and the truck before we leave.;)

I got the car washed, hand polish, hand glaze, 1 coat of sealant done this last weekend. Today, 1 more coat of sealant (24 hour cure time) and then tomorrow a coat of wax. Then before I leave, another coat of wax. Still have to do engine and interior, wheel wells. All that good stuff. I know there is still the drive up there, but atleast by doing it before I leave. The base will be done, then I can just keep it clean up there. Let me tell ya, this thing feels SLICK. And the wax is not even on it yet.

I am leaving the truck and trailer home this year and driving the Cobra down. I can't justify $1000 in diesel just to haul it's pretty butt back and forth to MB from Boston. I have to get the 3M clear coat applied to the nose and hood this week, swap out the alternator, put on a new serpentine belt and change the oil. I won't worry about detailing it until I get there as it will probably get rained on, on the way down.

Other than detailing, I have to have my exhaust welded and realigned. My new kits clamps dont seal very well, and the tips need to be aligned better. Hopefully, getting that done tomorrow afternoon

Alternator is on, exhaust is being tightened down to prevent long term deafness on the ride down (pesky leak at the midpipe to header joint). Packed all the supplies this weekend and took it for a test drive to listen for strange rattles that will drive me crazy on the way down as one of the rear seats has to be down to allow for extended storage from the trunk into the back seat. Luckily the exhaust is sooo loud that the rattle noises are minimal. Now if I can just get rid of the exhaust flutter from the leak...

+100000

I had my exhaust realigned after my new catback system. And he loosened the manifold/hpipe joints. Well now it leaks. I tried to fix it but I'm not gonna have time to fix it right. I'm gonna have to deal with it I guess till I get home. He fixed the original problem I had, but made another problem. GRRRR
