View Full Version : 68 Resto Mod or 08 Shelby

I have to decide which to bring. This will be our first show. It is slanted to the older stuff or newer?:confused:

The show is broken down by year models. I personally would bring the 68 for the show. Over the past few years the 64-70 models have grown into an awesome show for their class. But I do hold a very special place in my heat for the 64-70 model Mustangs anyway. To me I think that the older Mustangs draw just as much attention as the rest of the show does. Last there if I remember correclty their were about 5-9 2008 Shelby GT500's thier all week. But the choice is yours.

I would bring '68. There just aren't enough out there to appreciate. Last year it seemed like there were a ton of 05-up and not enough classics!

Bring the 68. My brother just finished his 698 vert that he is bringing as well from WV. And that older ones are showing up more each year. But the 08 is a nice ride as well.

I vote goes for the 68 also. I enjoy seeing the classics. The numbers are growing each year. We need more to participate.

Bring the 68! The Shelby's are Awesome. I wish I had the same problem you do! But my nob goes to the 68.

Great! I'd rather bring the '68, I prefer the older stangs!

Bring the 68. Even though the newer stangs are nice there is nothing like an old school Mustang. I wouldn't mide having a 69 or 70 Mach 1. :D

I hope to see more of the Classics! This will be our first year. I just heard about the show this week. We are looking forward to being there!

The 68 by an overwhlming majority! It is a nice ride. I used to do a little racing, so when we sold the team we kept a motor. It is now in the 68. A full Yates NASCAR racing block and heads (which made getting headers a challenge) Had to change the pistons and cam to make it street-able). It won in its first show at memphis a few years ago.

Looks like there will be lots of great Mustangs. I'm not sure we will make in time for the show Friday, but will be there Saturday!
