Where To Stay???

Im coming down for Mustang week on Wednesday and I'm staying until Saturday. I was wondering If any of yall know where I could possibly park my truck and pitch a tent so I dont have to pay for a hotel. Im 17 and Im low on money so any help would be great. My teacher and I will be meeting up there with our 88' fox body and this is the only problem thats in my way of getting to come to Mustang Week.

It would be worth starting a new thread called "who is camping" and see if you could share a camping site with someone at one of the larger campgrounds.

Thanks man, we are very glad that we are getting to come. It was always in my mind that we should bring the car but I never thought it would happen. Supposedly, a couple Mustang Week officials are going to help us transport our car to Mustang Week. Mr. Butler still plans on bringing his '01 cobra also. I just really hope I can find a place to "camp out" lol

He is bringing his family and they are all stayin at a condo on the beach- but there will be no room for me to stay and I wouldnt want to intrude so I really need to find somewhere I can maybe pitch a tent or something

I think you were talking with one of the four Staff members and a MW sponsor at Rev's car show. If I understand correctly, there was nothing set in stone about trailering the car to MW. You may want to contact those you were talking with at the show to see what folks are actually planning.

I don't understand why your teacher isn't helping with a place to stay and getting the car there???

I offered to pull the car down if he can get a trailer, but now Im driving a friends car down and my Mom will be driving my truck, she wouldn't be comfortable pulling the trailer since she's never done that before. Tell Mr Butler to post up, Im sure someone on here can help ya'll out! It will be cool for ya'll to get it there!

We are located on highway 220 in mayodan, NC. Were right off of the highway- you cant miss the big M lol :cool:
