Cobra, deep dish chrome with Mickey Thompson ET Streets 315x35x17's. Barley fit on the Cobra, min clearance!

If I were you to be on the safe side I would roll the fenders to possibly avoid cutting the sidewalls of the rear tires. I plan on doing this soon to our 03 Cobra. From all that I hae read on SVTP some 03/04 Cobra's running 315's can get away without have to roll the fenders and some can't, but I wouldn't take any chance of cutting a sidewall. How much clearance do you have between the inner fender and the outer fender once the suspension if fully loaded?

My car is not lowered as the full length sub frames would never clear. Outter fender clearance is not an issue at all. Only tight spot is at the IRS cantaliver area. I have a finger width there, it is close. I just got thru crawling under the car and visually inspecting the clearance again. Looks fine even loaded. I see no way the tire will hit anything. I do have adjustable drag shocks on the car so it doesn't give much! Thanks for the heads up. Let me know what you think? Tires are 12.4" wide!! I did "modify" the outside if the spindle so the tire cap would fit flush. Rims are offset 27mm.

Are you running the low profile IRS bolts that are rounded to avoid damage to the sidewalls when they flex under a hard launch?

Yes, I changed them out when I replaced the bushings. I also modifed them a little for extra clearance just in case. I have the Mathis bracket also so not much flex there.

Looking good Charles! What psi are you running in those? Let me know what kind of review you give on them once you get some miles on them. From running the M/T Drag radials in the past, I personally wouldn't run any other DR on the market but them. The best 60 ft time i had with the M/t DR's is a 1.47 and to me that was very impressing considering I drove to the track with them on the car and the seem to last as long as Nitto's do, but the is a very debatable statement due to everyone having a different driving style. Hope you enjoy them.

I'm running 25/26 psi right now for the heat. Added a pic Janet took I like best. #15. I hope the perform. I got a set of 315 Nittos on the original cobra rims sitting in the garage so I can swap at any time. They are like new! LOL! Was trying to eliminate more wheel hop and get something to hook in first! I could easly turn the Nittos.:D
