Downtown Browns Summit, NC

I was in the "metropolis downtown" area of Browns Summit yesterday and saw two or three of the Mustang Week Flyers at the store near the train tracks. The guy even came to my passenger window of my Saleen when I came up to the stop sign and said "You heard of Mustang Week?" and I told yeah I'll be there and he give me thumbs up. Now I wonder how these flyers got out there:confused: :tup:

That's my Dad. He has a woodworking shop in the old Brown Summit Grocery. Needless to say he's pretty excited about Mustang Week this year! He's been stopping every Stang he sees! We were trying to figure out who it was he talked to. He told me a cool yellow Mustang stopped by. Mystery solved. hehe

man, the downtown of Browns Summit is getting crazy with traffic:rolleyes: . I like to go sit in the gravel across the street and watch the trains come through.

That'd be him. I grew up working at that store. I pumped gas and filled drink boxes for $2 an hour. We are friends with the owner, when the store closed he offered it to my Dad to have his workshop/antique shop. He does all kinds of furniture repair. When it comes to wood there isn't much he can't fix. He even built the cabinets in our house. Stop in and say hey sometime. His name is Mack.

Awesome! Yeah it was me, we were on our way to Phil's house. He sure was excited when I mentioned that I was a judge last year. Very nice man your Dad is Joel:tup:

He told me that he talked to someone in a "cool looking yellow Mustang". At first I thought it was Phil. Then he said that the driver was a judge last year. The Lord has definately blessed me with a cool Dad, and man is he excited this year. I was at his shop when Mike called me to tell me about my car. I'll never forget that day! My Dad was the first person I told! I think he is as excited as I am. My Mom and Dad are both coming down this year too!
