Taxi service/public transportation

Hey, I am going to need either a taxi, or some other form of public transportation for my wife and son on friday. We are going to the show, but he will need to go back to the hotel for a nap, and really don't want him out in the blistering heat for a long period of time. Is there a really good taxi service to use there? What about the city bus?

We are staying along Hwy 17, at the Comfort Inn, in N. Myrtle, about 8 miles to the north of the show.
