As you all know, we will end up near/at the Myrtle Beach Mall three different times during the week. Once on Thursday, just before we leave to cruise to Dragnight, and then on Friday for the Car Chow, and then on Saturday for the Cruise-In. We recently talked with the folks at Calli Baker’s Firehouse Bar and Grill (www.callibakersfirehouse.com) and they wanted to extend a big welcome to all Mustang Week participants, vendors, sponsors and staff. They are located right next door to Hooters. Calli Baker's will be running food and drink specials during events as well. Let's take them up on their generosity and be sure to visit them while at one of the events!

That's where we're having the block party on Friday from 6-8. They are gonna donate a portion of what they take in, during the Block Party, to the Myrtle Beach Christian Retreat's Childrens Home Ministry. Their chicken wings are awesome!

I ate there last year and really enjoyed it. They have a huge collection of t-shirts from many different fire departments. I really enjoyed it, being a firefighter and all!!! Look forward to eating there again, hopefully this time with a huge group of stangers!!!:D

Im not a firefighter, but I do try to "snatch people out of the fire!" hehe But I appreciate all ya'll do! Would love to be a volunteer, but I have too weak of a stomach.

Thanks man. We do it because we choose to. I have been a firefighter for 20 years. If I could go back in time and choose to do all over again I would. For me it's all about helping out other people. That's why I do it. Do not mind putting my life on the line at all. To be honest when you are going to the call you don't even think about that. You just think about what you have to do and you make sure you have your buddies back. My hat goes off to all those who are serving for our country.:tup:
