How is the weather usually in Myrtle Beach during July? I know in Florida it would be rain every afternoon

HOT!! If it rains, its usually just short showers, not enough to ruin things.

I will second and third this comment. It does get hot, but good thing we are at the beach. Lots of places to cool off!!!

BLAZING HOT!!!!!!! 3 years ago is was so hot at MW is was just plain redicilous. That was the hottest MW we have ever been to. Last year was pretty nice due to the steady winds we had. I hope this years weather turns out like it did last year.

I will be. I have a 10x20 but it's a pain to put up by myself, so I'll be using the quik one.

Mine is 10x10. I just have to find a way to anchor it. I hear the 5lb weights that are sold for them are not enough weight

There is always a few people who bring theirs and set it up. I will be bringing ours down this year.

Remember to clear the location of any canopy or covering with the Mustang Week Staff prior to putting one up. We will most like have to come up with some sort of guideline for those. We will get that up in plenty of time for planning. If the wind picked one up and blew it across a couple of cars.... that would be a problem. Being at Colonial Mall on Friday and Saturday this year will at least offer more options to go inside and get cooled off. Remember, drink plenty of water and use sunscreen!

It's just as humid as Florida but maybe just a tad cooler, must be the breeze off the ocean, but deffinatly HOT! Be sure to stay hydrated during the day, water, sports drinks and such.
