Finally got my car almost back together after the wreck i had in September. The day after the wreck i overheated the motor real bad and blew the head gaskets. I have this replacement from a 99 Mustang GT 35th anniversary.

The car it came out of caught on fire from a propane tank exploding next to it. It burned the top of the intake and valve covers as well as the wiring harness. It wasnt on fire long enough to melt the intake gaskets, so thats a good sign. The valve covers on it are my old romeo valve covers just to keep dirt out.

Here is is painted and cleaned up alittle bit. Please don't comment on the overspray around the intake ports. It really annoyed me on the TBird website

So far, i have all my stock coils, pulleys, and exhaust manifolds put on. Im trying to locate an 8 bolt automatic flywheel and a set of windsor valve covers. Thats all thats holding me back from installation. I will have more pics during installation and possibly a before and after video. Wish me luck!

thanks. the installation went perfectly fine. one of the guys on the thunderbird forum asked me how i got the motor mounts to work. i dont know if theres a problem with them but the name of the game is make it work, thats how. all i have left to do is tap the manifold for the temp sensor and install the manifold, fuel injectors and rails, and add oil and gas. I could only get one pic b/c my camera died, but my friend has some others that i have to get

it runs very good. Its gonna need a custom tune b/c all the throttle response isnt quite there. the power steering line broke so i got that to replace, and i gotta change a back tire before i can road test it, but it should be alright for now until i get it tuned.
