I like that you guys added the awards to Saturday. Gives you more time to add them up and less waiting around in the heat. Who ever made that decision is awesome. lol :tup:

Thanks. It was a joint decision to move it to Saturday. Hopefully this will help us avoid any human error in tallying the scores at the end of a very long day. We think it will go well also.

The decision wasn't really to keep people from "waiting around in the heat." As Scott said, we changed the awards to Saturday to ensure accuracy and make certain that nothing/nobody is overlooked. As competitive as participants become over the MW Car Show, we wanted to have the time to properly process all data. As it was, we had to race to get all info entered into the spreadsheets and kick out the results with little to no time for review. This new format will also give the staff a chance to better delineate the "Best Of" awards. We want to be as fair as possible.

I agree! Over the past 8 years I've just learned to accept and embrace the late-July heat.... somewhat!

I'll take that heat anyday over the cold and ice we are expecting here this weekend. We are pulling all nighters at work all weekend! Come on Springtime!!!!!

I agree it is a great idea! Kinda sucks for those who don't wanna hang around till late saturday but all in all its a good decision. Plus it gives you guys time to add the scores up and get it right. Its a good call:tup:
