SUPER 8 QUESTION

I am thinking of getting a room from Wed- Sat at Super 8 Motel
3801 Hwy 17 South North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 can anyone provide any info such how is the place? is it close to most of the activites without being right on top so you can't get out of the parking lot. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My other choice is : Holiday Inn Express

the traffic getting from north MB to south sucks, even just the mall. Im not sure how far up the super 8 is.

If you are talking about the Super 8 at Barefoot Landing, it's only 5 minutes (or less) from the mall where Friday and Saturday's events take place. Also 5 minutes from the US 17 / SC 22 intersection which allows easy access to SC 31 for easy north/south access.

I've stayed at the Super 8 at Barefoot and it isn't bad for the money and location. The pool is super small though, and it's a couple blocks from the beach. Still a good location in my opinion. Also, it's not close to the "strip" where people cruise on Ocean Blvd, but would only be a 20 minute drive or so to get there if that's what you are after.

I stayed at the Super 8 on Ocean Blvd last year...Beside "Crown Reef" "Holiday Sands South" and Spring Maid Beach Resort

It wasnt to bad we had a single room the man up front ended up giving me and my girl a upgraded room basically 2 rooms joined together. I stayed there for 7 nights for around 700 dollars.

This year I will be at Holiday Sands South. They are offering a 25% Discount for MW guest. If u stay there longer than 3 Nights thru the dates of 19th-25th.

But if this is your first time at MW you are going to have a BLAST!!!!! I had a amazing time last year and So pumped for this year!!!

Hi....We are the Fairfield Inn by Marriott next to the Myrtle Beach Mall...you can walk out of the parking lot of the hotel and next door to the Mustang Week Show....no need tro worry about parking your car....leave it in our hotel lot.....call us for reservations....843-361-8000....hope to hear from you soon...Barb

reserved my room here @ the Super 8 in Barefoot Landing last night. me(98GT) and a friend from Charleston is gonna stay with me with his 96GT(cobra clone) and possibly another friend with his 2010 GT. hoping itll be alright. anyone else staying here with us?

Well I changed my mind and got a room at the Landmark Resort right on the beach..Hope it is a good place & not to far from all of the fun stuff...Looking forward to July
