One year ago today...

The Mustang Week Staff lost one its five members and a close friend. The Mustang community lost a wealth of knowledge and experience as well. Two girls lost a dad and one little girl lost a grandfather.

He was someone that I could call (since he was older and had "been there") and talk with about how a dad deals with a growing daughter, how to deal with the rough spots in a relationship, or just "shoot the $h%#" about the Mustang world in general. I'm proud to have been able to know him and wish he was still around to keep us Staff in line.

So today, join me in remembering Bill Jones.

Bill... thanks for all the good times and the words of wisdom. RIP

I have been thinking about this for a few days now ,it's been 2 years tomorrow that my DAD passed and one year today for Bill ,what a bad two days . :(

Today is a rough day. He was a great man and a great friend and I am proud that I was able to know him for a few years of his life.

Brad is right, he usually became the voice of reason for the staff and was always the solid foundation we needed.

His daughter Laura still drives his grey GT and EVERY TIME I see that car to this day I expect to see him get out of it. His life was shortened tragically, but his memory will always go on.

We miss you Bill. RIP!!

I never got to meet Bill in person or talk to him, but I'm sure that I would have gotten along with him very well. It really stinks that I didnt get a chance to meet him before his passing but I'm sure in the end, Ill get to meet him in heaven and ramble about Mustangs for eternity. My prayers go out to his family and all his close Mustang friends :tup:

His name is on the back of my Cobra and I display it PROUDLY. Rodney your Dad was awesome too!! Both are in a better place now!!

A little late on this post but just wanted Bill's Family to know I have been praying for them alot the last couple of weeks, and Rodney too. I just realized a couple of weeks ago that Bill passed on the same day that I met Jesus in '87.
