First,
I just want to say hello to all the forum members. I do read a lot forum wise, but I don't post as much as I would like to. Second, I wanted to share a little something with you all.
Me and my wife have been to the last 4 Mustang Week events and have enjoyed each one more than the one before it. Anyone who stopped by to say hello to our black and white Pomeranian knows who we are. My wife got her just over two years ago and named her "Shelby" because she said I'd never be able to afford one. (Funny I know!!) Since 2006, Mustang Week has pretty much been my family vacation, so we always make plans for that week of events. My birthday is July 29th and what better way to celebrate my birthday than during MW. We have always looked forward to coming to Myrtle Beach to meet new people and see different cars/trucks.
Well... late last October, I and the wife got some great news that we had been hoping for. We found out that she was pregnant!! So after we visited the doctor and made it official, the due date was set for July 25th. So at first, I thought "Well dang, I'm going to miss MW this year." But then I got excited. Excited for three reasons. 1) We're finally having a baby. 2) Our son/daughter will hopefully be born very close to my birthday, and 3) it will be the same week as MW. So needless to say, I am pretty psyched!!!
I just wanted to share this with everyone because it may carry on to someone else's family. To let them know what a great atmosphere it really is. It's not just about the cars. It's about the fellowship that everyone has and the environment that the staff breaks their back to provide us with.
So with that said, I want to say thanks again to the entire staff. We really appreciate everything that you do to put on this event. I know that this year will only be better because of you guys/ladies. And I hope that if we don't make it this year that you guys/ladies will keep us in mind. That God will be bringing another stanger into the world (Hopefully, *fingers crossed*)
