It will deff be unforgetable!!! We stay in a house owned by family, so I don't know anything about accomodations. We are at Surfside tho, and it can take a long time to get to North Myrtle certain times of the day due to heavy traffic. Maybe try to stay as close to North Myrtle as possible. I have seen posts from people who stayed at hotels that offered trailer parking, car washing , etc., things geared toward Mustang Week participants. Hopefully someone else will reply with advice on where to stay. Do be aware that Myrtle Beach has a noise ordinance in the city limits, so especially when cruising Ocean Blvd. don't make any excessive noise or spin a tire because the fine is steep. You're gonna love Mustang Week!!!:D

^ +1 on the noise ordinance. I saw about 5 people get pulled over one night on the strip for all the noise.

You'll absolutely LOVE Mustang Week though. Great people, Bad Ass Cars, and fun times aplenty. If you get bored at any point during the week, something is wrong with you, lol. The car show on Friday, and the Cruise-In on Saturday are incredible. SO many awesome cars in one place... be sure to have the camera battery charged.

I'm needing some help on the accommodations this year as well. I stayed with my cousin at his townhouse last year, but he moved into a new place this year and it's no where big enough. Odds are its gonna be me in my Mustang, and my buddy in his Colorado. We need somewhere with safe parking, as preferably the "car washing" that the guy above mentioned, lol.

Last year my 16 yr. old was in his GT, it's about 11:30pm on the Sunday before Mustang Week starts, my other son and I are behind him in the Roush, we're on Ocean Blvd., and the 16 yr old gets into a "woofing" contest with a GT beside him. This is where it gets funny, 'cause he and the other GT get pulled by the bicycle police!!!! We still give him a hard time for getting pulled over by a bicycle in his mustang!! Anyway, the only reason I still think it's funny is because they both got a warning instead of a ticket!! Later that nite, we got on the forums to warn folks about the noise ordinance and the guy in the other GT sees the thread we started, long story short, we met him and his dad and hung out all week. That's what MW is all about to me, meeting people, making new friends and having a good story to tell when you go back home.
ClemsonSixer, no harm, no foul 'cause you can't tell anything from my username, but 03machone, the guy who mentioned the hotel with carwashing is a gal, not a guy!! Too funny!!!! lol

well consider me red-faced :o lol.

But hey I can't say TOO much. I got pulled over... well, WALKED over... by a FOOT cop last year for something about my tag. I'm still hearing about that one.
That's absolutely classic about your son though, but hey kids will be kids. And after reading about Rev's "Project Car", I finally met him at the car show last year. Genuinely great guy, deserved having that car done-up right for him. Who knows, maybe I can put some faces with names this year. I already owe a guy on Bad Mustangs Club a drink after we got into a Clemson/Univ. South Carolina debate on Signing Day, lol
