View Full Version : Suburban Extended Stay Hotel?

We just booked our hotel for MW! It is our first time at Mustang Week and just wondering if this is a good choice, location, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks :)

I checked there, and its not listed, but it is listed on another Mustang Week hotel page. I just hope it's not too far away!

There's not really one right place ,beacuse every thing is all over the beach ,so it's really where you want to be at ,on the beach,off the beach or just close to one of the events ,see you at the beach :D

You'll be just down the street from Broadway at the Beach, fairly easy drive to the MB Speedway just down US 501. You'll have to pack up the car and drive over to the beach, but there are plenty of public beach access parking lots. Also, you'll be near Wal Mart.... somehow I can't get through a Mustang Week without having to go into that place.

We stayed there for MW 08' and we really liked i alot...pretty clean, and you can jump right on the bypass to get places....I will say, however, that when we stayed there their prices $70.00 per night!!! Which is the whole point of an extended stay...Now I think their prices are through the roof, which is why we rent a house now....But its a pretty nice place in our book

:cool: Never been to MW. Where do I stay? I have been going to Myrtle for about 20 years but never to MW.
Any sugestions on hotels.

People stay all over the place, from Cherry Grove all the way down to Murrells Inlet. Some, that wait until late to get reservations, end up as far inland as Conway. Many will stay at familiar places like Holiday Sands South. HSS has been good to MW folks and there will be a lot of us there. Some chose to stay at the "host" hotel the Sheraton. Below is a link to the list of hotels we've compiled. We can't really vouch for any of them, but those listed have said they'd cut a bit of a discount for MW folks.

Whew Im glad its not 70 a night anymore. We actually got it for 56!! So that made me very happy! Thanks for all the feedback, I feel much better :) Im so excited and wish it was July already!! :D

a buddy and I actually ended up making a 3:15 am run to Wal-Mart one night this past year. My cousin didn't really have that much to munch on at his place and we we're up late, jacked up from a GREAT night, and hungry. Oddly enough, that was the only trip we made to Wal-Mart while there, and it was for beer, steaks, and potatoes. Look on the cashier's face was priceless, lol.

Whew Im glad its not 70 a night anymore. We actually got it for 56!! So that made me very happy! Thanks for all the feedback, I feel much better :) Im so excited and wish it was July already!! :D

56 a night!!! holy cow...thats way lower than our price :tup: Like I said we really liked it, very nice folks at the desk very clean..nice pool...kind close to all the Tattoo Shops if your thinking of getting any work done ;)
