Hey Guys,
I am bringing a couple cars to myrtle beach and both of them sit pretty low to the ground.I was looking at Holiday Sand south. My girlfriend said that there was some negative talk about them and how hard it was to get lowered mustangs in to there parking lot.Does anybody have any ideas about this or know anything about it.We stayed last year at the Americas best value inn on 522 coming into myrtle beach.

I do not even try to get my car in the parking garage. Now the entrance is very flat. You may could go in & out of that if you had somebody raise the gate for you.

Most of the beach hotels that have parking garages. Forget it. Thats 75% of the reason I stay in the Sheraton. Never had a problem

I checked that out over Easter when I was down there. I had heard about the potential issue, and wanted to check it out as I should have my 2006 lowered by then. Last thing I wanted to do is have to deal with an issue like that right after my arrival.

The HSS parking garage exit is flat out mean. It's a good drop, and the street pavement raises up quite a bit after the drop. It would be close as to whether a stock Mustang could handle it, especially if equipped with a chin spoiler. It's not much different from dropping off of the curb after looking at it up close and personal.

After checking that out we opted to visit, and then change, our reservation to the Compass Cove next door. The parking garage situation shouldn't be an issue there, and the wife liked the pool areas much better at the Compass Cove. It's important to keep her and kids happy!

The Compass Cove is a little more expensive, but overall I felt it was worth it. Especially since it'll be a 10 day trip for the wife, and I'll be down a day after her and the kids arrive. So we're making a pretty big trip out of MW10.

I always park in the outside lots at HSS with just about every other Mustang there... A parking garage does have it's benefits though.

I park mine outside also & never had a problem. Its so many mustang guys there they seem to look out for one another.
