I will be at MW 2010 for the first time

I just made my hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn Hard Rock 101 FANTASY HARBOUR from Wed - Sun. This will be my first time coming down and from what I hear I will be back for more. I am driving my '07 GT/CS from Conecticut to Florida to visit my parents and then head up early Wed. morning so I will be there for the Speedway Fun Runs.

The show will go on unless it happens at 1 of the 2 track events. If it does rain everyone kinda does their own thing.

Seriously, precipitation never last long (never really sets in). Hasn't been too much of an issue in the past.

Here's my take, it's the southeastern US coastline in the summer. Afternoon showers happen then they go away. The one last year on car show day cooled me off and kept me from flopping!

I actually liked the one on Friday last year, very refreshing. There was one downpour on... Thursday (maybe?) that lasted for almost 2 hours. Me and some friends were about to head to the beach and play football just before it started, but we said "F it", and just played football in the downpour. THAT was some fun stuff.

So I just made a Hotel change from the Holiday Inn Express to the Landmark Resort...WHY??? it is right on the beach, has indoor/outdoor pools and it was even less money!!! Has anyone been there? it got good reviews on Trip Advisor so i am hoping to have a good place to stay.

You'll have a blast! Its the BEST vacation ever! Everyone is pretty laid back. If not they've missed the point. The operating word is "VACATION" Its awesome!

i,myself cant wait to get back there,i have had more fun there than ive had in all my lifetime!!!!i really enjoyed seeing all the beautiful cars and the great people behind them!!!everyday was exciting and it will get better every year!!!looking forward to meeting you all,old and new!!!!!!!
