Anyone ever seen one of these, I tripped in a Pile of crap again and look what I found, car has been verified by Saleen as 87-282 Last 87 Saleen Built and the only GT Saleen built, and it is a T-top car.
Original Owner special order it as a GT, I like this car, it's cool.
Hey Mike, Look I set up a Phot Bucket, LOL

I have the Knob for the Koni's it's in the glove box, as far as I know I don't think he even listed this car on e-bay. Shoot me the e-mail, I don't think I got the either.

A yes, but the GT sports where Not # cars, and are not tracked. This one is the ONLY Saleen Built as a GT. Really cool! Well I think so.

Aaron, I think i sent you that message thru the "share with a friend" link in the listing so i dont have any record of it. Oh well, doesnt really matter. Im sure its the same car though, not too many other black 87 Gt Saleen t-tops with aftermarket seats, it was even in Utah.
Looks like its cleaning up nice! Very cool car. Is this the only 87-88 t-top Saleen that you know of?
I asked the owner at the time, but he didnt have any documentation or even a build# and I didnt know enuogh about Saleens to jump on it.
I cant wait to see it after you work your magic on it! Let me know when you are ready to sell. Im sure it wont be too long. LOL

Thats like my 04 had. 2 bolts on the front of the tower and 1 on top. I did have to drill for one on my 04 though. No factory holes. The 2 in the back on the firewall are a PITA lol. I didn't even bolt those

Alright call me blind or retarded, but I don't see any bolts other than the factory ones on the show tower it this pic http://i893.photobucket.com/albums/ac138/aaronstiles/DSC04122.jpg I know how they bolt up to the cowl area, as I have installed them on a few friends cars before, but I have never seen one that "appears" to run through the shock towers with no welds on the STB or shock tower area:confused: If it runs through the shock towers, then what keeps it stable?

The Bolt is on the back side of the Shock tower, it is a Big ass Allen bolt, LOL. My 89 Saleen had the same set up. I think it ran 87 thru 90 like this, then they changed the Brace
