That isn't that bad of a quote. I damaged my front splitter before Mustang Week pulling into a parking lot....cost me $400 for repair.

Yeah I got a number from the same guy that quoted me the $600.00 repair.. I gotta say he was really honest about it.. basically turned me away and on to this guy... said he could probably fix it at a 1/3 of the cost..

they usually do a great job.. i work at a ford dealer part time. my friend's fusion got hit with hail, had over 30 dents/dings. the dent guy got them all out and u cant tell.
not sure how it will work with your being on the body line like that...

I've got 2 big ones like that in my 97 I drive to school. I've seen a tool at autozone to pop those out but I haven't gotten around to buying one yet. I'm in the auto body class at my school so I'm hoping I can borrow something from our shop to fix it. :D

You could always just fill it in with Bondo, sand it down, and paint over it.$20.00:tup:

Your dent is definitely repairable without paint work. I am a paintless dent repair tech for Dent Wizard in Ohio. There are no tools you can buy to "pop" the dent out. It must be gradually worked out by an experienced technician. I would recommend that you look for a reputable PDR guy in you area by asking around at dealerships and body shops. Beware there are a lot of hacks out there. Like almost anything, with PDR you get what you pay for. You should expect to pay between $100-$150 retail for a dent like yours. Hope this helps.

Thanks it does... I will do some research before choosing someone... I have 2 contacts now for DPR guys... both claim that they do dealership repairs.. one was recommended by a friend who used them and swears by them.. Thanks for the tip! :)
