My Departure (crying sounds)

Well folks, today will be my last day before I ship out for Air Force basic training in San Antonio, TX. Just wanted to let all the Mustang Week staff that I'm very grateful for what they do and I thank them for hosting the greatest week EVER! Thanks to all who have helped me make my dream of owning and driving a mustang come true... JP and Julie, Jeff, Joel, Johnny B., etc.... I really learned a lot building my car and it was just another dream come true just to be able to take it to mustang week even though I did have a few problems and she wasn't the prettiest out of the bunch hehe Hopefully, by time I get out of boot camp and tech school, I will be able to save up enough vacation days to take off 3 weeks in July for you know what lol.... Got my bags packed, the mustang parked and ready for storage, and a new mindset as I venture into a life changing experience...once again thanks and I cant WAIT for Mustang Week 2011!!!!!!! :D :tup:

thanks man. im also thinking about going into the AF. ready to get my car fixed from being rearended @ Mustang Week. but when she's fixed i plan on trying to talk to a recruiter nearby as when i sent for info they gave me a recruiters office across the state lol. good luck man and we all appreciate what you're doing

Hey guys, just talked to him the other night. He is doing well but kinda homesick. Here is his address if you would like to write him. He should be graduating around the end of Oct. I will let you know for sure the dates when he gets them to me. Be cool for him to see some of his MW buddies there.

Ok sorry its taken so long to update, long story short, house was broken into, computer messed up. Famiy ok, Burglars arrested, computer fixed. Happy Rev

Update on Michael. He was having breathing problems, come to find out he has asthma, so they are going to medically discharge him. He may be home by Christmas. Not sure yet. He's in good spirits and knows that the Lord has some cooler plans for him. Keep him in your prayers. Talked to him tonight and he is doing well. Here is his new address. It would really make his day to get some mail from his Mustang Week family. If you have any pics of his car at the beach he would love those too. He says none of the guys believe him about what all he did to it. Hehe

I'll write him up a letter tomorrow. I feel his pain about the asthma, the stuff sucks for sure. BUT, as you said, big man upstairs has bigger plans so it's all good. No clue if I have any pics of his car since I have no idea what it looks like, lol. But I'm sure he wouldn't mind a CD with all of my pictures from the week on it, just in case it's on there.

As for you Rev, glad justice was served on the burglar. People like that just irk me. Even better than you and the family are ok!

Hey guys, talked to Michael yesterday, he has one signature of three needed to come home. Very small chance he will be home before Christmas, most likely sometime in January. If you've got some old Stang magazines send him one, he said he's read the couple he has about 10 times each. hehe

As for the burgalars, letting Jesus take care of them. hehe He'll do it alot better than me.
