ive been street racing since the late 80's and its not allways a 8 9 or 10 sec car that wins . it the guy with the slowest looking car and the bigest trick up his sleeve . lol . i think its all good to street race and all but the new guys on the street dont have much of a clue as to organizing this shit at all . ( im not saying you ) . it will happen allover the country no mater what . problem is all this posting of videos of street racing on the internet WHY BRING ATTENTION TO IT . just clam up and bring it , get it done make or loose money and come back to fight another day . ive won and lost many a race and dindt have the fastst car . its about fun and i think mustang week is gona b a blast no mater what happens . me myself im looking for a fun cruze and alot of cold bud light when im not driving . lmao . CANT WE ALL GET ALONG . LOL .

it the guy with the slowest looking car and the bigest trick up his sleeve ..
Pretty much hit the nail on the head with that statement.

I think its all good to street race and all but the new guys on the street dont have much of a clue as to organizing this shit at all .

And this statement couldn't be any more true.. when places like the HOLE in Newark get shut down because of the ricers, you know there is a problem with the newer generation.. there are still a few good places left in NJ to race, but I think it's only a matter of time until some idiots come and ruin it..

I guess I am telling my age but back in the muscle car days 66-72 racing on the street was a ever day occurance yes I admit I done it to. But today's traffic it is not an option. The strip is the place! Getting a ticket for wreckless driving by racing on public highway is not good. Got one in 71.

I just got a street racing ticket 2 weeks ago. Looks like it's getting thrown out b/c the officer has yet to turn the ticket into the court and Monday is the last day to appear. If it's dropped I can breathe a sigh of relief but the anxiety I've been through these past 2 weeks is enough to not ever want to do it again.

SBP? lol! it's all about location and keeping your friggin mouth shut. The location in the southern part of NJ I would never find if it weren't for a friend.. but I will not bring anyone there, and it took this guy a long time to be able to trust me to know that I wont talk about the spot.. and I wont.. EVER..

i think i know to its just to far for me to travel to that spot unless it is on a friday or sat nite . newark "was" organized and well done but its over now . u have to set stuff up in advance and bring a crew to get it done rite . the "hole" is alive and well just not advertised much anymore . its for heavy hitters only . all the imports hang on 1 and 9 and have caused alot of bad attention to the point were they put up cameras . but in a positive note englishtown on friday nites will let you line up with someone to grudge it out ." no times posted of corse" and island dragway aint to bad either .

Well, my ticket was turned in by the officer on the last possible day.... today. I was the first person to see the judge and he was really relaxed about it. He asked me if this was a habit for me and I told him it was only an isolated incident. I was respectful and kept him in a good, lighthearted mood the entire time. I got away with a $50 fine + $75 court cost = $125 total. It's a much lower fine than I was expecting but my stress level has been through the roof. No more street racing for this guy.

Man I think you are VERY LUCKY to recive only 125.00 fine. Any points at all? if that were the case around here expect about 500.00+ and court cost as well as a few points to go with it.

The hole is still open huh? last I heard it was shut down. hmmm.. good to know. ..

The place down south is a small haul, but it's worth it I guess. secluded, no side streets for people to come out of.. and it's organized.

No points b/c my driver's license was issued by the great state of NC. NM won't be reporting this to my state thank god. I was definately expecting a $500 fine. I am lucky..... lucky indeed.

Where you from in NC im from W-S yeah they are easy on everything, oh except taxes. Yall NJ boys should come down to FL there are spots on every block. I mean there are prob like 10 places we could go right now and not worry about anything.
