I have a couple questions if you guys don't mind... Are the events just a show up at the time? Do you have to prepay for anything? Pre register for the car show or just show up? Thanks for your time.

The car show is Pre register & I strongly suggest when we open it you do it. This show fills up fast & from the looks of things we will not have spots available at the beach. We have judged show cars & display cars. The judged ones are eligible for the awards the display cars will just be in the display area at a discounted rate.
The dragnight if you want to ride in the group you show at at Hooters at a certain time & the car show has a registration period.
The other event you just show up.
434 250 6490 is my # if you would like more information.
Thanks

Belive Mike the car show fills up extremly fast go a head and pre-register so that you will have a spot. Other than that all of the other events you can just show up at any time. If you are going to drag night which alot of people do I would show up early and when the directions are posted up go ahead and print them out and bring them with you and make some copies for the other people are come wih you or hand them out to people who did not print them out. BELIVE ME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED AT ALL! Go ahead and make the trip and bring as many Fords as you can.

Ok, I'm going to take things a bit further than Mike and Rusty. (Since I'm on my lunch break!)
Tuesday's Meet-n-Greet: Get to Planet Hollywood any time you are ready. Some folks come early and stay late, some pop in for a little while and then leave. It's up to you.

Wednesday's event at Myrtle Beach Speedway: new this year, but I'm guessing there will be a line for the fun runs around the oval. Burnout contest will definitely pack a crowd!

Thursday's Dragnight: as Mike and Rusty said, show up at Hooters (Colonial Mall in N. Myrtle Beach) prior to the start-time for the cruise to Darlington. Or, just make your way to Darlington Dragway for the event. Folks that choose to make some runs normally get to make as many passes as they want throughout the night, but this year may bring more of a crowd...

Friday's Car Show: PRE-REGISTER as soon as you see the form posted! Then, show up at the time designated for show participants to arrive. You can also choose not to be judged and just display-only.

Saturday's Cruise-In: show up whenever you feel like it during the event times. But be warned, there will be a LOT of Mustangs and SVTs coming and going!! TOO MUCH FUN!!!

We try our best to schedule events so that participants and spectators can still have time to enjoy vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Let any of the staff know if you have further questions.

Thanks!

To me was one of the most enjoyable events! We all met then cruised to Darlington. Man what a line of Stangs! It was awesome to travel to the strip with a large group of Stangs. The track was fun but the ride there and back was a blast too! So what if I took a wrong turn and so did everyone else behind me! LOL! I still feel bad about that. Can't wait for this year's events!

Yeah the best pics and vidoes were shot in route and by some of the people getting ahead of the crusie line and videoing from the side of the road and by people in verts with the top down. I watch the video's at least once a week.

Brad, I'll be there this year! No desert sand in my shoes for once. If we pre-register this year do we get window stickers like '05? Not sure if I want to show or just display this year. Also, When will T's be available cause I'm not missing out this year!!:D Since I'm gonna be around this summer, do ya need any help this year?

Eric,
I'm glad you don't have to be in the sandbox again this summer! I imagine we will be doing the participant stickers again as we have the past two years. The t-shirts normally don't come in until a week or two before to give every opportunity for sponsors to be involved and get on the shirt. Rodney M. handles the shirts, so that's best left for him. I regreted not grabbing you a shirt before they sold last year. It will be good seeing you and your car there!
