I know its a mustang site and mustang week and all that which you know I am into. I just want opinions on what you guys think of imports and their drivers..... my daily driver is an import and a Honda.. but its an S2000.:D

From my experience, people with imports at the track seem to have a healthy amount of differences from the mustang crowd. Not necessarily a good thing. However I have met a few that stand out in a good way and were totally normal cool people. People with import DD's, not so different. I also consider "ricers" and "import drivers" in two totally different categories though. :D

If it is done right, is FAST and isn't "rice", it's all good. There are some fast Import cars out there that dont look riced out that wouold surely surprise a lot folks.

I still prefer stangs though!!

yea rice like in a bowl with chop sticks .... lol j/k
i like imports ( to a point ) alot of really fast imports in new jersey .
but
i sold a brand new sti for my roush :)
actually it was for a 2006 gt that i put juice on then totaled that in the rain with 3000 miles on it then i got the roush stage 3
im happy now lol
the sti was an awsome car . handled great but i couldnt get into the import culture or the NOISE . i didnt like a chrome coffee can on the back of a car that sounds like a broken street bike . but i still have respect for some of the tastefully done evos and such that i have been around . as far as the import croud . well id rather not get into that to much because most of the KIDS r just not what id like to go cruzn with but some of the guys r just like the hot rod croud and those people i have no problem with .

No giant dragon sticker or park bench bolted on the trunk, so not rice. :)

I agree with SM69Mach. It's pretty easy to distinguish the difference between rice and a fast import. Fast and the Furious started all this crap. "Your 1991 Honda Civic EX with a fart can and cold air intake is not the same as a Toyota Supra with a turbo upgrade." You see the same thing happening with some Mustang owners now too.

Still looks stock, so it's not a ricer. I think a DD and that's what its used for does not fall in to that category unless you start throwing on add on's like performance and apperance parts.:D

I would say totally not rice. I taught auto tech at a local high school until I got tired of baby sitting, and alot of kids now a days think the louder the exhaust is, the more horsepower it makes. lol.

Are you saying that's not true?! Crap, I thought I was fast because my car was loud too! Way to ruin the party. :(
