TAKE OVER 95 ON THE WAY HOME

we r looking to leave on sunday early in the am and drive up 95 to joisey .

I'll be heading up 95 to Boston on Sunday, but you'll have to slow down to 65-70 for me, I'll be hauling my beast in the trailer.

Depends on how early you want to leave. If we meet for breakfast first at say 7am. There is a Cracker Barrel just north a bit from the mall where the show and cruise take place. We could have breakfast and be on the road by say 830a. Just an idea...

We will probably be on 95, not 100% sure on the day, but if its Sunday id gladly cruise... 65mph might be tough, as we did a good 80+ last time the whole way, but I dont mind (I do 65 following my dad towing his race car)!

wow i cant believe i didnt see this thread til now. yeah that sounds like a good time. we left relatively early sunday morning last year... maybe more towards new but me and my crew(should be 3 mustangs total) would be happy im sure to finish off another amazing mustang week with a nice long cruise up 95(we'll be going all the way back to CT). we should all definitely meet up for breakfast or something and do it that way. we'll have a laptop on us down there the whole week so we should be able to coordinate-- cell #s or whatever will work.

Im one of the crew, I think a cruise with others is better. This way if something unforseen happens, there will be people to lend a hand if need be. Always nice to travel in packs!

We should decide on a time and place to meet Sunday for the trip north. Personally I would rather leave early and have the time to cruise back without feeling rushed to get back to the grind but I'm flexible.

I am a native New Yorker myself. I know if we get 10, 15 or so New Yorkers and New Jerseyans driving fast Mustangs on 95 heading back home its quickly going to turn into a Cannon Ball Run situation. This may be turn out to be the best part of Mustang Week. Now I can't wait to get there and I definitely can't wait to leave.

This will only be my third trip to Mustang Week but I can share an observation. The highway patrol in VA, NC and SC are abundant during the time frame and aren't too forgiving. Just be careful and watch your speed. You'll still have a great time!

Hmm we saw one single cop on our way there and back, and he didnt bother the 3 of us cruising at the time. I guess we got lucky, doing 85 or more most of the trip!
