How many peoples mustangs are daily drivers and will be driven to mustang week and back home? Will that be considered in the car show awards also? Since the awards are based on cleanliness and all.

My wife will be driving down our 03 DSG Cobra Vert and it will also be in the car show. There are alot of daliy driven cars that are enterd in the car show that are EXTREMELY CLEAN!! Rodney, Mike , or Brad might chime in and go into more detail on how things are juged.

Mine is a DD (even in the lake effect snow of Ohio winters) and will be driven to MW. Two weeks after I bought it last year it went to MB for Memorial Day week on vacation so this is it's second time making the trip down there. Hopefully I'll have another DD by this winter so it won't have to see the salt again though.

This is the toughest part of the car show. We have ALOT of AMAZING cars come in from daily drivers to fully trailer concourse cars, that only see shows or very nice days outside. In judging the cars, we try to take that into consideration when scoring. Hopefully that helps some.

Thanks

I would drive mine down, but 200 some miles 4:10 gears and a auto with no overdrive...is not cheap....It is actually cheaper on me to pull down.....Plus not to mention...95degree weather dosent set well with the ol ponys

I have heat, but no A/C,and all 4 of my stangs are very much street driven any chance I get......However with the mod list,on each one....and at the build time, summer beach driving was not really took into consideration......Now you find me a 75 degree night, and I will have mine out prowling the streets....as late night after hours proved to be a lot of fun.....

I'm rolling in a dd and just going to have fun....show cars are one thing, but if you can't have fun in it......why have it!

There is one thing that is a given, IT WILL RAIN AT LEAST ONE DAY AT MW!! Usually it is Drag Night. But the fun will continue.

I remember the car that was in front of me that year was a white notch back with ET Streets, man I was scared for them, myself and all of the cars that were in the line behind us. The car was fish tailing all over the place, crusing about 20-30 mph and raining cats and dogs. But we all made it and had a great time at the track and made it home safe.

Last year was the first year i drove down to SC with out hitting rain and coming home. At least your rain down there doesnt have so much acid thanks to the ocean. Up here we have so many cement mills and industry the just kills paint esp if u dont wax.
