Yea the process has started..paint is going to stay the same but the interior HAS to go and I am wanting black.. problem is mine was all TAN ( YUCK! ) thats why its covered and looks like this..... YUCK, I know dont remind me

Well I am going dark inside...I got one piece my 2 pieces done that go over my 1/4 windows... they where grey now they look like this below

I know tweed isn't at all common among the domestic people but when its clean its nice... Ok so I was wanting some opinions on what you think should be done in black or all of it... the pieces that are painted will stay orange cuz of the stripe on the car.... O and how did I do for actualy doing 80% of the interior work myself..

I would love to see a black on black or black on grey interior with polished interior trim peices and tint the windows to about a 35% Smoke tint and call it done. I think that you have made a GOOD CHOICE to come to the "dark" (GOOD) side.

This is 15% on the doors w/ black interior. 5 on the back window, there was 5% on the quarter windows but I don't have anymore. lol.

I would say go all black. Maybe the things that are orange, paint silver. To many different colors does look rice. But that is jmo.

You guys are allowed to do 15%?! Ohio law screws us and 50% is legal, you can probably get away with 35% but any darker and you're asking for tickets.


I say go with as much black as possible, it's a clean look and will go with whatever color you have on the outside if you were to change that in the future too.

That is what is on Our 03 DSG Cobra Vert, I guess the DSG color makes it look darker than it really is. I love the way ours looks. But it is up to the car owner.;)

Thats to dark, 5% is to dark on the doors. its hard to see at night unless the windows are down

Don't try that at Myrtle! Had a buddy get harrashed by MBPB last year bout the tint on his 03 Cobra. It was 5% if I remember correctly. SC Legal limit is 27% I believe. Both our Foxbodies have 20%, and i've had no trouble with them.

id go black dude. im glad your changing your car. It was nice before, just not what i like for my own. Its a sweet looking car. U should drop a 4.6 or 5.0 in. sell your S2000 lol

Another vote for a 4.6 or 5.0. Or head/cam swap and some spray. So far my $30 vinyl stripes are my only "show" mod, every penny I get goes towards the "go". Eventually it will be pretty, once it hits 11.49 (any faster and a cage is required). :D

i cant do a 5.0 cuz its a 98...... atleast thats what i was told.. but a motor would be nice

I'm sure you could find a 4.6 for a decent price then, they're everywhere around here at least. PI is a necessity too!

Do a 5.4 single or TT setup:eek: , or save your money and get a built 4.6 or 5.4 from Boss 330 racing. That would be a very nice set up!

I'm the same way about my 5.0 but I don't really know a whole lot about the 4.6, 5.4 world yet, but I'm learning more and more everyday!
