what is up with adds?

what is up with all the adds on our lovely mustang week web site. the past couple of days i have seen porn. porn video's and drug threads. what is these peoples problem. cant they just leave this web site alone......

We catch and remove them as fast as we can. Spam just sucks!!!

for real.. my wife and i were reading over some of the threads this past weekend and she said those people suck and need to quit trying to ruin a good thing

it's a common problem... unfortunatly, there isn't much you can do about it, they always manage to get on the site somehow.

I go through the same thing on my fishing website. I ended up having to manually appove each person that joins to make sure the junk dont get posted..

They are easy to keep out, I posted a thread a while back offering to help you guys rid the site of them but got no response, and you dont have to approve each new member to do it.

Install that, It can be done via the admin panel no ftp access required

then ban the GMT-12 timezone, if you will look almost every bot that registers selects that time zone, this stops them cold, since I installed this on my forum no bots have made it in, eventually they may adapt but for now it works great
