What do ya'll think about hood pins. I've had my eye on a set from mr. gasket and just wanted some opinions. They wouldnt be just for looks if your wondering. I've noticed my hood has a lil shake to it when im on the interstate so they'd give me a lil peace lol

In my experience, if it is a stock hood you should be fine, not saying there couldn't be a failure, just not as likely with a stock hood. With an aftermarket hood, I would agree that it should be a requirement or that they should sell them with the hood, cause they have more of a tendency to have problems. I have sween some locking styles as well that arent as noticable as well that you can get that should work fine as well.
