ah.. i really really realllllly wish i had kept that car now. Was doing some numbers yesterday and realized..if i hadnt have sold it, then bought the 05. I could have kept it and bought the cobra then had old blue as a daily driver..
:(
And yes there is a bit of a story lol The car was put together 2 weeks before mw. Custom body work (1965 fastback stang vents put into it), body kit, car was gutted and had custom stuff done (headliner and door pannels) then it was a full color change paint job. lol I bet I had $60 grand in that thing.. motor had every possible bolt on except a blower.
But yeah the biggest "special" thing about her was the color 69/70 grabber blue ....... and we cut the quarter windows bracing out of the car and cutom fabbed in the 65 fastback vents into the car. They looked sick! Basically i wanted a modern day boss and that was my dream :D mm if anybody wants better pics go to www.granddesignmat.com and go to sponsors, it'll be under holly pecks boss.

thanks for the nice comments guys..thats the whole reason I built it!
The car is now located over in moulton alabama..
The paint I took a HUGE chance on. It was originally supposed to be Kandy blue, but I couldnt find anyone to paint it. So at the last minute I changed it to grabber blue. When the guy painted the door jams and under the trunk, hood I started freaking out cause it was SO bright. Then a couple of days later came back to look the car over and freaked again cause it looked like..a giant smurf! lol ...both paul and I were arguing over who was driving the smurf home! After I got the black accents back on it it looked really really good. When I had my 05 i was drooling over the idea of painting it grabber blue lol but i sold it instead.
