Does it matter what brand walkie talkie you have to get the same channel? If it has no difference if your on 10 with a cobra or any other brand. What channel should everyone be on to keep in touch? My friend in his car and I will have one, who else will?

I'll have mine set at 10, I'll have to go buy some though.
I'll let you know for sure what channel I'll be on when the Black Mustang Club gets back with me on what channel they are going to be on.
I know all of us plan to carry one on us though...I'll let you know

Everyone with walkie talkies, turn them to channel 10 on the road. That way we can keep touch on the road if we pass another stang and are wondering if they are bound for mustang week or bust.

I have a Motorola and I have a channel 10 set but at the upper right conner I have a 38 anyone know what that means?

It means you have 10+ main channels, and 38+ sub channels. Like your on 10.38. Understand what I am saying?

try to get yours to sub channel one. Not everyone has the subchannels

probably everyone who has them on within your range, some are 2 mile some 12 mile, so it really depends what type of walkie talkie they bring to the show. I will be on 10 as I cruise around this weekend. So hit me up if you see me, I drive black vert with a tan top (if it is up) and have SC tags that read GARDIAN. ~Christine

If you get this before you leave. Put it on 10-0. 10-1 will be a totally different channel. I didn't realize

My Cobra's have the weather station too.. lol
My only go up to 17miles though

well me and pops tested ours out tonite after we detailed my cobra and we got a total of 2 miles before they started goin out lol, whered the other 20 sumthin miles go???

well they worked good tell one of us got around some rail road tracks?? and yeah to get to our development you have to go down a hill lol, i didnt think it mattered??

Mine are new and I haven't tried them, but I was told they work good on flat road, but if you go over a hill you loose signal regardless of how much range they claim.
