I was told that it is illegal to drive in SC with no door handles and my car could not see the road... any truth to that?

there are lots of laws like that including ones that say you cant lift or lower your car... Just depends on if the cop and if he feels like pulling you...

I have been in LawEnforcement for the last 7 1/2 years and ive never seen anyone written for having shaved door handles. Sounds like someone was bored or just given you a reason why they searched your car.lol

See thats it.. he didn't search my car... he said he stoped to look at it.. said it was nice and all.. asked about it...then told me I couldn't drive it in SC for the no door handles....

What??????? Couldn't drive it in South Carolina because of they way your doors are? WTF?

What about tint laws down there? Does an out of state car just visiting have to worry about them? My car is getting new tint put on this week, and I would hate to spend all week down there getting tickets for it.

theres your problem, you ordered ribs at DENNYS hahaa, they thought you were crazy... They were worried you might snap and shoot up the place. :eek:


no lie, there is a place in conway thats been here for a while... They arent segregated anymore of course, but for their drive through you have to go to the back door like you would if you weren't white back in the day.

Not as scary as MB, crack road is right behind are station and we hear gun shots sometimes while outside on breaks.
