Try driving for 7 hours with blower whine and an o/r x...lmao I know how you feel. I also have 4.10's so its turning about 3,000 rpms the whole way.
But anyway the WV crew made it home safely yesterday.

Headed out about 10 this morning and got back to Danville a little after 4:00. We had a little detour at Cracker Barrel. :D

Just got finished unpacking. Met a few folks. Looking forward to next year. DONNA... I don't think I introduced myself yesterday. I spoke to you yesterday right after the rain shower. Everyone was busy wiping water off their car. Me & my wife love your car. She wants one now. LOL

OMG worst trip ever...

Okay here goes. Got in bed at 11 Friday night. Woke up at 7 AM and went and dropped the rental off. Got on the road at 9. Made it about 40-50 miles into North Carolina and the turbo car (Wolpert1983) overheated and puked antifreeze. Got it off the highway, called his AARP towing. Got it down to Fort Bragg (had a military guy with us). Got up to The airport near there and 2 of the 4 guys went on a plane. Wolpert and me took off from there around 3-4 maybe. Got on the road, and made it through the rain and all into Virginia. Hopped off the highway around 10, and got a room. Slept till 830 and then back onto the road. Hit rain from the end of VA to CT the whole way. Then my car started to act up, stumbling, backfiring, no power etc... Did this 4 or 5 times leaving us stranded under a bridge once. Now with this rain, take into account ONE wiper, windows down, heat on, front tires rubbing, and an easy 500-600 lbs of stuff in the car not to mention the two of us (400 or more total b/w us). Bottom the car out BEFORE hitting any bumps, made hitting bumps that much more fun.

So the trip started 7 AM Sat AM, and I rolled into my driveway at 5:30 Sunday evening.

Needless to say the plans for the car have changed drastically!

Just rolled in at 8:00 pm. Left MB at 11:00 am and just took my time went shoping(Fireworks and tool world). 4.5 hours of riding but the Silver 91 2.3 made it fine. Smooth ride(as smooth as a fox can ride) and 40+ mpg. Can't wait to go agian but I'm glad its a year from now, gotta get the coupe done.

just got back a few minutes ago. We truly had a great time. no troubles at all on the way home. Can't wait to do it again next year. I think I'll try to take a break at some point during the show to really admire some of the cars though.

Got home tonight around 8:00 pm. Left Sunday am around 8:00 am, overnighted in Pa, Stopped at evolution performance to pick up rims and tires. Long two days of travel, but had a blast all week!!!

whats wrong with your car?


lets see.. blew the coolant tank at teh speedway. Replaced it..headed to the car show friday and it started over heating. Checked it out and it was low on coolant we thought that was the problem so we filled it up and let it run..did fine. Went on about 6 blocks and then it overheated bad again.. engine shut down and barfed the coolant up under the cap. Towed it to conway ford and now we have this:

Blown drivers side head gasket
blown waterpump
blown waterpump sensor & gasket
blown thermastat

and the widows arent working for some reason. And the drivers side head has a chance to be cracked or warped. Still waiting to hear back from em on that. :(
