A cruise to Charleston wouldn't be a bad idea... Seeing as I'm from Charleston.

My local club has a connection with the Hooters in North Charleston, and the manager of the store would LOVE to do something as far as hosting a cruise from N. MB Hooters to Charleston. And help from my Local Club to put things on if needed.

We have always encourage clubs etc to have their own events etc. Maybe this is something you guys can put together after one of our events.

Here's an idea that we do locally that works really well......for CROWD FAVORITE.

Have each entry place a bucket in front of their car. The crowd will then deposit extra change, dollar bills, etc. into the bucket and whoever has the most "donations" is chosen as the crowd favorite. That will also generate some extra money for the MW Staff to use towards costs, etc.

I would love to see a swap meet. I'm always building, stripping or modifing someone cars and I need to rotate my collection.

We were going to do a swap meet this year, but we ended up having to use the space for vendors (over where the dyno and detailer were set up). I looked around the swap meet at FFW in Richmond this year and it mostly looked like junk. We will work on trying to figure in a swap meet for next year, if possible.

Vendors will always look at the benefits of attending events , one way we all can help is buying their goods. If you make a purchase after the show , make sure you let them know that your decision was influenced at the show, this will help the vendor list continue to grow....JP

Very well said JP! Mentioning that you saw someone at event means a lot to the vendor, letting them know it was a worthwhile venture.

I just don't see how we can fit any kind of cruise to Charleston into an already busy week. Again, we will look into to it, but I feel that would be very hard to fit in. Maybe something to do the Sunday after the Cruise-In but so many folks leave that Sunday morning.

We all know one man trash is another mans treasure. I am always doing something to someones mustang and needing parts even some "junk". Just saying keep on open mind on the swap meet. I seen one guy selling used parts there and I would have bought more if I had the money.

All I wanted was a WHITE hurst shift knob, and no one had it. I want to just buy one new or used, cash in person, no jegs/summit and no one had one.

I understand what you guys are saying, but we have to try and find the proper venue for a swap meet. We'll work on it.

Thats true but we also understand that the average person can't afford to go on vacation one week then come straight home and start ordering parts right away. Like a said before MustangWeek is a very good show and well thought out. One thing I would like to see is all vendors put in one area at the front so all people coming in the show see the vendors.
