I started MW over 6 years ago ,for one reason .TO BE FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and to be the biggest Mustang event on the east coast. Now with that being said ,I have fun and I'm working my butt off ,FOR YOU GUYS !
It has taken 6 years and ALOT OF WORK from us the Mustangweek Staff to get to this point and it will not get messed up now. I think everyone that likes this event needs to say, thanks to the staff ,because if not for them and me this event would not be here today .
Everyone needs to just chill out and enjoy the pics and IF you have something to add or for us to look into ,please just post it . We will look into it ,but there are somethings we can not do and some we don't have the money to do . and some that just not doable at all . So bear with us and 08 WILL KICK ASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are not stopping now :D :D ;)

It was a fun week and the Myrtle Beach Speedway event was awesome (minus the wait at the beginning). Keep that event!
Mustang week was great, and I didn't even have my mustang there this year, I can't wait 360 more days!!!

Thanks Rodney I thoroughly enjoyed it. Man this was for a fun week not a time to critisize everyone. If you don't enjoy it don't come back is the way I see it. Thanks again for putting on a great week. Take some of comments and tweak it for next year if it is feasible.

Speedway guys were sluggish to listen to the Mustang Week staff, I believe I can with upmost confidence that the turnout for that night got their attention very quickly. I enjoyed that night, I didn't stay the whole time but enjoyed every minute I was there.

One again I would like to express my appreciation to the mustang week staff and their families from me and my family. I had a blast this year. I thought it was even more fun that last year. I really enjoyed the speedway and autocross and definitely the burnout contest. That was great. You guys keep up the good work and MOB, thanks for the time you all put in to help out the MW events. Without you and the staff, it would be impossible for me and everyone else to take their stangs to the beach and have as much fun as I do meeting everyone. If any ideas come through about fundraising to help with the costs of the event, i would be definitely interested in helping. I know the staff and MOB enjoy doing it because you guys love mustangs and doing it for us, but alot of us are willing to help with the costs of the event. You guys are dedicated for voluntering your time (which could be doing something else) to us, so we can have fun. Thanks guys and as always, I look forward to 2008. Can't wait...

Yeah, ditto all above. My first year was 06 and 07 HAD TO BE twice the showing 06 was. I was in the Fox Cruise and I LOVE the cruise in. I get to park my car in the area with these high dollar show rides. BEST MUSTANG or FORD SHOW I HAVE BEEN TO. Just a great place to take a vacation.

the speedway was cool, it was close, the weather was perfect. Im so mad i didnt run my car around the speedway. I dont think of mustangweek as so much a show, its vaction. So why should everything be so strict. Its the beach relax. All the events were awesome. its only gonna get better.

I would like to thank the Mustang Week staff for everything they did to make Mustang Week so fantastic. I had a blast. I am sold on this event and look forward to it every year.
As soon as the new schedule is out for 2008 I can finalize my club's schedule for next year. A must is a Black Mustang Club and Yellow Mustang Registry photo and cruise. Maybe the media will show up in 2008 that would be cool.

I have always looked forward to MW each and every year and look forward to many more to come. I know how hard you guys work on MW throught the entire year. I know that you guys spend alot of time away from home and your families to ensure that MW is the best show on the east coast. There are alot of incompentent people out there who always thinks everything should just be given to them. I'm sorry but I have to give MAJOR PROP'S to the whole entire MW Staff and Vendors, the way I see it is I'm on vacation to enjoy the MW events, sponsors, cool people, nice rides, great attitudes and the family atmosphere. If you don't like the way some of the things were handled that cost you NOTHING = STFU! and don't come back! Sure that there will ALWAYS be things that everyone can improve on each and every year, but if you don't have a hand in it and it doesn't cost you a dime, family time, days off of work, gas money, insurance, and some sanity keep your mouth shut and deal with it. The MW Staff and Vendors CAN NOT PLEASE EVERYONE!!!! You know what Really Pissed me off was when everyone leaves the events, why does there seem to be a lot of trash left in the parking lots? My wife and I helped the MW Staff after every event to clean up the trash left in the parking lot by the people that attended the events. I'm not asying the everyone left trash, I did not get paid to clean up trash or anything my wife and I could not belive how lazy some of these people were. I don't like cleaning up others trash and I can imagine that the MW Staff doesn't either. Put your self in their shoes and try to put on a show like MW has become and you will understand how they feel when people start to voice their opnions about what the MW Staff can not control. These guys bust their hump all year long to make this event happen. I truly look forward to MW each year and would not miss it for the world. I personally think the whole entire MW Staff did an excellent job!

i cant believe people are complaining about there being no trash cans. Walk to the mall, 30 feet away. or buy a garbage bag at wal-mart before the show. gee's Any other show, would cost money for your whole family to get in. When Nmra was at maple grove, it was like $20 a person. Fun ford weekend was like $25 a person, at englishtown. there still were hardly any trash cans at either events. I rather walk to the mall and use there bathrooms then a blue box thats 100 degrees in. I guess the shows close to perfect if thats biggest problem. lol

I always bring trash bags to all of the events and keep some in my vehicles also. I too would rather use the bathrooms in the mall vs 100 degree port-a-john. The way I look at it is my trash is not someone else's problem it is my own!

Ok, I was bringing the trash can thing up because if you looked at the ground at the end of the night. You would see why. I kept my trash in the car. And Id like to see how you figured the mall was only 30 feet away when some of us were at the complete other end of the parking lot. But hey, you know so much.

That is why I put all different size garbage bags in the back on my stang and my club picked up all of the garbage around us and we hauled it off.
Thank you for helping the MW staff out like that. There is tons of garbage left after an event like that and we all need to do our part to make sure that we clean up our own mess.

I know the bathrooms in the mall are nicer, but for people like my dad who has a bad knee and had his prostate removed making a 1/4 mile walk to the bathroom is sometimes a challenge.
As far as the trash, I am not suprised there was some left. The nearest trashcan I found was the one at the entrance to Bass Pro Shop and it was completely full. We ended up putting our trash in our cooler and tossing it later, but some people just don't think much.
Definetly need Trashcans and Johns next year to help alleviate some of these issues.

Two years ago, my husband and I stumbled on MW accidently. We dedcide this year that we would go down and make a vacation out of it. So this is our second year. Last year we had a blast and wanted to attend this year. We compiled our list of things that we wanted to do to the car and spent the whole year working on them together!
So, we roll into MW and have fun. We get back and all hell breaks lose on the forum.
I have a V6 (heard complaints about that), I have ground effect neon (heard stuff about that), I have halo lights and other non stock stuff on the car. It made me mad that people would comment when I thought that it was suppose to be fun. We did not participate in alot of the activities, because we were doing the vacation thing. Still, we had fun and ignored the negativity.
What does make me mad about the whole thing is that people want to complain about not having pictures of their car posted etc. Seriously, get a life. The other issue is with the jerks that wanted to act like idiots driving on the strip. That makes a bad name for the rest of us who are trying to have fun.
I LOVE MY CAR! and we enjoyed MW, and getting to work on the car to get it ready, however, all the whinng and complaining is making me think twice about next year. There are too many people who think that they and their cars are better than everyone else, and that the angels should sing when they drive by. MW is about getting together and meeting other people. Which I did. Thanks to 1crzyhorse for talking to my husband for what seemed like forever about suspension.
People need to stop worrying about what other people think and live in the moment. That is what my Mustang does for me. The top down, perfect song on the radio, open road..................

MW means alot of things to alot of different people. It means something much more special to me. Two years ago, I was looking into coming to mustang week. I contacted Stacy (Blue98Stang) to talk about the events and what it was like. 6 months later we were married. We were married on the beach two weeks after MW, so unfortunately we did not make it that year. Last year we were fighting bills and trying to get our lives in order. This year we were finally able to get it together and make the trip and I had a blast. This trip also served as our honeymoon as well. I can honestly say that I owe my marriage to mustang week. It may not be what keeps us going, but it is what brought us together. So for us, MW will be marked on our calenders for years to come and we will help with registration and judging as long as we are able. Next year we'll have our first child in tow with us as well. I hope it will be as fun for little Tillman as it is for us. So to all the staff....thank you.

I want to say thanks as well! This was our 3rd Mustang Week as a group, and there were 15 people that came down with me in my group. We've had a BLAST every year, and yes it's a great VACATION!!!
My pleasant suprise this year was the Fun Run night at Myrtle Beach Speedway. For months leading up to this, I was not very excited about this event and I had actually planned on skipping Wednesday night completely. However, I woke up Wednesday afternoon and at the "midnight hour" decided to go and run my car on the circle track and autocross..... boy am I glad I did!!!!! This ended up being my favorite night of the whole week! This was my first personal exposure to autocross and I'm hooked! I hope we continue the Fun Run night every year!!!
thanks!!!

This was the third Mustang Week I attended. It just keeps getting better each year. Ya my stang is only a V6 and ya it had some damage with the side exhaust skirts missing. But I came here to socialize and meet some fellow mustang lovers and that is what I did. Last year I was blessed with receiving a Top 75 award and I will cherish that. I knew I would not win anything this year and I may not next year but that does not mean I will bad mouth those that did win. I may never win again but I will still come to Mustang Week because it is about the fun of getting together with others and checking out all the sharp looking Mustangs.
