This is the only performance plug out for the 3v. I believe they cost so much because only the Ford 3v trucks and mustangs use them.

Maybe I am missing something, as I really know nothing about the 3v engine or your car. Would you not be better off putting the money toward UD pulleys, gears, ect? Things that will give you MUCH more bang for your buck then spark plugs.

I see where you are coming from but it depends on wether he is looking for a power adder in the future. If he goes SC then that is money wasted. OR he could spray it and be fine with the plugs. I would do a gear swap and sub frame connectors before I bought under drive pulleys. Or get a CAI and a tuner.

Make sure those plugs come out in one peice or you will be visiting your local FLM dealership and be getting them removed. If it stays in the head and you put the new plugs in there will be unspeakable damage when you start it. Just letting you know, dont know if its out there.

Yeah that would suck! I can emagine the amount of engine damaged that would occur once it fired up!

Will he not have to run colder plugs when he goes for a power adder? Then the $100 plugs are useless.

Anyway I was not trying to start a debate, I was just making an observation. The plugs are pretty to look at at least. I would agree with you gears and subframes would be first on my list.

Well who says its not for a power adder, the one every one says is cheating :-D. With only 10,000 miles on my car. If the stock plugs dont come out, then we will have a little Ford problem.

I didnt realize spark plugs were so expensive.

I run el cheapo Autolite 3923's in my Fox and they run about $2/each.

If thats the case,I sure hope those are not platinum plugs.....

The new ones, why? They are the only ones out for power adding. Well the Ford racing ones also, but they even cost more

Maybe for a S/C but I would never use a platium plug with nitrous...Bad tales,bad experiences,bad period.....Iridium plag diffrent story....but never platinum and N2O

To dispell a few 3v myths, I work at a Ford/Roush dealer so we see s/c cars alot. Roush chargers don't require new plugs, but some of the better s/c's do. It depends on how much boost you are adding, as far as nitrous goes everthing is good w/ a 75 shot, but go to a 100 or 125 and you have to have a tune and change plugs. These cars are so much stiffer than the fox platform cars that subframe connectors are not needed except in a car being driven to it's 10/10th's. Best bang for the buck is a cai and tune. After that Whipple w/intercooler or Saleen s/c.
