Coffee, Camshafts, and Community: A Midweek Mustang Must at Mustang Week Texas

Coffee & Camshafts fueled by Modified Muscle Marketplace is rolling into Galveston on Thursday, April 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and it is shaping up to be one of those must-hit stops during Mustang Week Texas 2026. While Mustang Week Texas itself runs April 14 through April 18, bringing five full days of shows, motorsports, burnouts, and nonstop Ford energy to the Texas coast, this midweek morning meetup adds the perfect mid-morning touch to the schedule. It is unofficial, but absolutely recognized and supported by the Mustang Week crowd.

8 am – 11 am
Mainland City Centre in Texas City
Brick & Spoon, Hoppes Cantina and Pit Stop BBQ

If you’ve ever been to a Coffee & Camshafts event hosted by our good friend Chris Cervenka, we need not explain why you might want to attend. For the newbies, these are not quiet parking lot meets where people sip coffee and leave early. Coffee & Camshafts draws the early bird crowd who are looking to squeeze every Mustang Week meetup out of the week.

This year’s Coffee & Camshafts is set to bring thousands of dollars in Mustang parts from top aftermarket brands that will be given away as a thank-you to the community. Additionally, this event will be benefiting Make-A-Wish TX Gulf Coast, so show up, get your raffle tickets, support an amazing cause, and you have a shot at going home with real hardware for your build. That alone is enough to get attention, but it is only part of the draw.

The event takes place at Mainland City Centre in Texas City, with Brick & Spoon opening their doors alongside Hoppes Cantina and Pit Stop BBQ for a stacked set of options for your first meal of the day. The setup is simple and exactly how it should be. Pull in, pop the hood, grab breakfast and coffee, talk Mustangs, listen to DJ tunes, and soak in the atmosphere. All Mustangs and Ford-powered vehicles are welcome.

There are multiple ways to score raffle tickets throughout the morning. Attendees can scan the QR code at the DJ booth and fill out the form, purchase breakfast or coffee at one of the participating restaurants and redeem the receipt, or grab a Coffee & Camshafts t-shirt. Prizes begin getting raffled off at 10:30 a.m., so sticking around pays off. The crowd builds steadily through the morning, and by mid-event it becomes one of those scenes where you are glad you showed up early.

This year, Coffee & Camshafts flows perfectly into the official Mustang Week Texas event of Drag Day. Around 11:15 a.m., the Ford and Mustang cruise to Drag Day at Houston Motorsports Park rolls out. It is not just a drive from point A to point B, it is a rolling convoy of Mustangs heading straight into another major Mustang Week event. If you are trying to hit everything during the week, this transition makes Coffee & Camshafts a perfect launch point for the rest of your Thursday.

If you’re in town for Mustang Week Texas and want to experience the full spectrum of the community, Coffee & Camshafts fueled by Modified Muscle Marketplace should be on your schedule. Come out, bring your Mustang, and be part of one of the biggest enthusiast meetups of the week.

Be sure to RSVP on Facebook, show up early, and don’t miss your chance to kick off Thursday the right way.
