Mustang Week fans rejoice! Late Model Restoration joins the party of Mustang Week Texas for the second year in a row as the presenting sponsor of the Official Car Show. Their support helps to celebrate the enthusiast passion of the Ford Mustang in style!
With more than 25 years of experience in the Mustang and Lightning community, LMR built its reputation on helping enthusiasts restore, upgrade, and personalize their rides. That same dedication will be on full display at Mustang Week Texas 2026, hosted at Moody Gardens, where the company is set to have a strong and highly visible presence throughout the event.
Mustang Week Texas heads into its sophomore year in Galveston and is set to host an exciting lineup of activities over five days, including:
- The Official Mustang Week Kickoff Party hosted on Tuesday, April 14th, at Fish Tales. This event is free to the public and attendees and provides a spot to catch up with the community, grab your Mustang Week merch, and enjoy the early Mustang Week vibes.
- The Mustang Week Track day at MSR Houston on Wednesday, April 15th, which will host HPDE, Autocross, Kart Racing, and the MSR Track Experience.
- The All-Ford Drag Day at Houston Motorsports Park hosted on April 16th and features an Open Test & Tune, Grudge Racing, and a True Street class on the dragstrip. The day will also feature Oval Fun Runs, Drifting Ride Alongs, and Spectator Drags on the Oval, with the winner taking home bragging rights in addition to a 12-pack of beer and two pizzas!
- The Mustang Week All-Ford Meet Up at Moody Gardens on April 17th. The meet-up serves as a precursor to the official show, allowing all Fords to cruise in and experience the music, vendors, drifting ride-alongs, burnout contests, eating contests, and more!
- Finally, on Saturday, April 18th, brings the Official Mustang Week Texas Car Show Presented by LMR. Kicking off at noon, the world’s biggest Mustang show takes place at Moody Gardens with over 1,000 Mustangs expected to fill the space. Awards are the same day at 5 p.m. Mustang Mayhem with drifting, Pro-Burnout contest, and fireworks begins at 6 p.m.
