Get ready — Mustang Week 2026 is taking over Charlotte, North Carolina from August 24–29, 2026. We’re thrilled to welcome you for six days of unforgettable memories with your friends, and the ultimate Ford & Mustang show.

Several Mustang Week events are free to attend, including the Kick-Off Party, the Karting & Ice Cream Social at K1 Speed, and the Mustang Week Games & All-Ford Meet-Up at The Horseshoe in Kannapolis. Events held at Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway require a Spectator or Participant Entry Ticket.

Admission Tickets

Admission Tickets give enthusiasts full access to Mustang Week, but are not bringing a vehicle to show or race. Upgrade your experience with add-ons like the burnout contest, dyno challenge, karting, or autocross ride-alongs and rentals.

Spectator Tickets

Kids 12 & under free. Adult Single-Day admission tickets are $40 and available at Gate only. Valid for one day: Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Not available online. 

IMPORTANT: The Mustang Week FABULOUS FORDS FRIDAY CRUISE-INis OPEN TO ALL FORDS and ANYONE with a Mustang Week ticket. It is first-come, first-serve until we are full. Anyone with a ticket can “CRUISE-IN” to the event, space permitting. VIP ticket holders get early access (1 hr).

Track Day Add-Ons (CMS – Thursday)

Experience Track Day at Charlotte Motor Speedway on the world-famous Roval, where all on-track activities are professionally run by Wheelhouse Performance Racing School. With a full range of driving options for every experience level, from first-timers to seasoned drivers, you can push your Mustang in a controlled, high-performance environment or ride along with a professional driver to see how it’s done.

HPDE (High Performance Driving Event)

HPDE is a track-driving experience focused on improving car control, technique, and on-track confidence in a professionally managed environment with Wheelhouse Performance Racing School on the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval. Driver classifications are assigned by Wheelhouse based on experience level. Advanced drivers receive five 20-minute on-track sessions, while Intermediate and Novice drivers receive four 20-minute sessions (time permitting) plus classroom instruction.

Track Experience

Mustang Week Official Event (Friday & Saturday) Add-Ons

Get ready for two action-packed days at the Mustang Week Official Event featuring the Fabulous Fords Friday Cruise-In, and all the Mustang fun you can ask for. From Drag Racing and Roll Racing to the Official Car Show, Drifting, Pro Burnout Show, Autocross, and Dyno competition, there is so much fun to choose from!

Mustang Week Official Car Show, Presented by Roush Performance

Official Car Show entry includes a reserved spot in the Official Car Show on Saturday. The show welcomes Mustangs of all generations and is judged on cleanliness, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. (Vehicles entered in the Car Show may participate in Roll Racing or Drag Racing on Friday only.) (Reminder: Fabulous Fords Friday Cruise-In is first-come, first-serve parking inside).

Street Burnout Contest (Friday night)

Roll Racing (Friday)

Roll Racing is a heads-up style of drag racing where two cars begin already rolling.

Entries are available as either Class/Race Entry or Test & Tune (practice only). Participants may choose one or the other—you do not need to, and may not, purchase both.

Instead of launching from a dead stop, both vehicles roll to a approx. 40 mph start, take the green light, and race side-by-side to the quarter-mile finish. The win light determines the winner. All drivers will qualify together in a single class. Once qualifying is complete and everyone has made a pass, the field will be divided into three classes based on performance.

Must be Ford-bodied or a Ford Mustang, street-type car with stock chassis & frame rails. No stripped race cars. Must have 2 front seats and all glass. Must have mainly steel or OEM panels (doors, fenders, etc.). All vehicles must have functioning headlights and taillights and meet all track safety requirements. See official rules. Roll Racing Class Entry participants will receive qualifying runs, followed by eliminations to determine the winners.

A $3,000 guaranteed purse will be paid out split 75% to the winner and 25% to the runner-up.

Drag Racing – Friday & Saturday

Drag Racing at zMAX Dragway delivers a variety of classes for every level of racer at Mustang Week, from Test & Tune and Grudge racing, Open Comp, True Street, and the Street Kings class. Total awards and prizes are more than $10,000.

Drag Racing Test & Tune/Grudge Only     

Participants may pick both days or just one day. Open Test & Tune / Grudge format. Limited to 50 entries per day.

True Street

True Street features a 30-mile cruise followed by three back-to-back quarter-mile passes, with winners determined by quickest average E.T. and additional awards for closest averages. Vehicles must be fully street-legal with working lights, mufflers, DOT-approved tires, and current registration and insurance. True Street is run on Saturday only (may purchase Friday Test and Tune entry if wanting extra runs). Please check official rules. Entry Cap: 50 entries

The True Street street division requires 200+ treadwear rear tires with full-size front tires and no skinnies permitted. Running within True Street, the Tremec Stick Shift Shootout highlights H-pattern manual transmission cars, with the four top finishers advancing to a heads-up showdown.

True Street awards include Overall Quickest Average E.T. Winner and Runner Up, Street Class Winner and Runner-Up, along with quarter-mile E.T. Average awards from 9.00 to 15.00. The Tremec Stick Shift Shootout Top 10 will receive custom trophies and the winner will receive a Tremec TKX transmission.

• True Street: $85

Open Comp

Open Comp is open to Ford-bodied vehicles, contested over the quarter-mile on a Pro .500 Tree. Qualifying is based on reaction time (top 32). Qualifying is Friday with Eliminations on Saturday. The class features a $1,600 guaranteed purse, paying $1,000 to win, $400 to the runner-up, and $100 to each semi-finalist. Please check official rules. Entry Cap: 35 entries (32 car field)

Street Kings

Street Kings is a street car showdown inspired by the Street Car Braggin’ Rights format, built to crown the ultimate street-race Ford or Mustang. Entry is limited to 75 cars (64 cars qualify).

Competition begins with three rounds of blind qualifying (scoreboards off). The top 64 qualifiers will be split into divisions based on position: 1–16 King Class, 17–32 Outlaw, 33–48 Hot Sauce, and 49–64 Grocery Getter. King Class runs true heads-up with no breakout. All other divisions will run a breakout set at 0.10 seconds quicker than the #1 qualifier’s best E.T. in that division. Scoreboards on for eliminations.

All cars/drivers must have a valid license, registration, and insurance. Cars must be driven from the pits to staging and back to the pits after each pass. Maximum tire size is 275 on a 15” wheel, 325 on a 17” wheel or larger, or 29.5 x 10.5 slick. See full official rules. Eliminations begin with a random chip draw in Round 1 and move to a ladder format after. .400 Pro Tree. See full official rules.

Street Kings competes for an $6,000 guaranteed purse, with $3,000 in King Class and $1,000 in each other division, split 75% to winner and 25% to runner-up.

Additional Pit Vehicle Pass

Drag (and/or) Roll Racing Entry Includes: 1 race car (and if towed: 1 tow vehicle, 1 trailer, and 1 pit vehicle. Race car must arrive with the truck and trailer). All drivers and crew members must have a Participant ticket. Additional pit vehicles are $50 per vehicle.

Autocross – Friday & Saturday

Take on the cones at zMAX in a professionally managed Autocross operated by Wheelhouse. This entry includes autocross access one or both days, giving drivers unlimited runs (time permitting) to sharpen their line, braking points, and throttle control on a timed course designed to reward skill and precision. Participants can also enjoy the Dial-In Autocross competition, a bracket-style format where consistency is key. After establishing a baseline lap time, drivers compete to match their dial-in as closely as possible.
