Check out the Competition
You might recognize some of the burnout vehicles competing in the Mustang Week Texas Smoke Show. Seth Cavanaugh is bringing out “Frost the Ice Cream Truck”, Shannon Serig is bringing “Scumbag” the 1998 LS Swapped R34 GTR, Collin the Video Guy is bringing his Blown 1940 Chevy Rat Rod, and Colt Tompkins will be bringing his blown 2005 Mustang.
A little more about Frosty
Meet ‘Frosty,’ Seth’s 1969 International delivery van turned burnout beast! Seth built this thing from a real former ice cream truck that now melts tires instead of serving treats. With a 555 big block engine and a Powerglide transmission, ‘Frosty’ has been lighting up burnout pads across the country. You can catch ‘Frosty’ in action at Mustang Week’s Smoke Show – Fords vs the World in Galveston, Texas, on April 26th!
A little more about Colt
Colt Tompkins built his 2005 Mustang with the goal to be a Burnout Monster. Its a pretty simple setup though if you look into it. He utilizes the Modular 4.6l 3v with a Department of boost manifold and 2.3l m122 blower. He then rebuilt and installed a th400 transmission and built 8.8 rear end. This is a MUST SEE car!
From the Man Himself
“Alright, y’all—this isn’t your average burnout show. My guy Shannon and I are rolling into the Mustang Week Smoke Show with some serious tire-shredding machines—Frosty the burnout ice cream truck and his wild R34 Skyline. But here’s the deal… we don’t wanna just put on a show, we wanna throw down with some killer Fords! That’s why we’re hosting the burnout show—because nothing’s better than big smoke, big noise, and a whole lotta fun. So if you’ve got a Ford that can hang, bring it to Galveston and let’s see what you got. It’s all about having a blast and melting some tires—who’s in?!” – Seth Cavanaugh
